Sheffield Wednesday sign SMI as research partner

With the new football season underway, SMI has kicked off its own new partnership with Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.

SMI will develop and manage the Championship club's new online research panel - SMI's flagship product - which will provide Wednesday with detailed fan profiling as well as exclusive research, benchmarking and tracking options.

The online community will also provide Wednesday with opportunities to create new revenue streams through data monetisation.

The club adds to SMI's existing list of football clubs and sporting clients which includes QPR, World Snooker, Archery GB in addition to football and sports-wide panels.
